The Registrar of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Muhammad Yusufu Abubakar, has issued a strong disclaimer regarding false information circulating on social media about the 2024 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening.
University warns that the misleading details are part of a scam orchestrated by fraudsters seeking to exploit unsuspecting candidates.
The university management has declared the information as entirely fake and urged parents, guardians, and prospective students to disregard it. UMYU emphasized that the official announcement for the 2024 Post-UTME will be made through proper channels soon.
UMYU advises the general public remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or law enforcement agencies to prevent falling victim to these scams.
