Troops of Operation HADIN KAI, working hand-in-hand with the Civilian Joint Task Force, have recorded another major breakthrough in the fight against insurgency. In a follow-on intelligence-led operation along the Mafa border corridor, the troops recovered three AK-47 rifles and five magazines, believed to be part of terrorists’ hidden arms cache.
The recovery came on the heels of a fierce encounter on 7 August 2025, during which one terrorist was neutralized. Acting swiftly on intelligence, the troops pressed on with clearance operations that led to the fresh seizure of weapons.
The Military High Command has commended the gallant troops for their resilience and urged them to sustain the momentum of intelligence-driven operations across the theatre.
This latest success reinforces the military’s commitment to rooting out terrorist elements and dismantling their networks in the Northeast.
