Katsina state government

Troops under Operation FANSAN YANMA have successfully rescued 50 kidnap victims and recovered 32 rustled cows after repelling a bandit attack in Raudama village, Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

According to sources who spoke with Zagazola Makama, the attempted raid occurred around 8:00 p.m. on April 27, when armed bandits stormed the community.

Prompt action by a combined team of army and police personnel led to a swift deployment of joint patrol forces, who engaged the attackers in a fierce gun battle. The troops eventually overpowered the criminals, forcing them to retreat.
