Rukudawa Village, Zurmi LGA: Troops launched a targeted offensive against the notorious terrorist kingpin Gwaska Dan Karami.
They eliminated two terrorists and uncovered a terrorists’ warehouse packed with looted food supplies, which was subsequently destroyed.
Mayanchi, Maru LGA: Troops intercepted marauding terrorists, neutralizing one in a fierce firefight.
The rest fled, abandoning an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, two motorcycles, and 410 rustled sheep.
Recovered items also included military camouflage and a Mobile Police uniform.
The sheep have been handed over to the Committee on Recovery of Rustled Animals in Gusau.
Kairu Road, Gummi LGA: Troops thwarted a terrorist mission, recovering another AK-47 rifle from the fleeing assailants.
These operations mark significant victories in the fight against terrorism in Zamfara State.
