Borno State Government

Troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade, working alongside the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested three suspected logistics suppliers linked to Boko Haram in Benisheikh, Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.

The suspects—identified as Abdul Kolo, Modu Masa and Atom Baaji—were apprehended around 3:00 p.m. on April 3 following credible human intelligence.

Security sources revealed that the trio confessed during preliminary interrogation that the items in their possession were handed to them by Boko Haram fighters for sale.

Recovered items include 20 goats, two mobile phones, a knife, and ₦139,780 in cash, believed to be proceeds of illicit transactions.

The suspects and exhibits have since been transferred to the brigade headquarters for further investigation and necessary action.

The operation forms part of ongoing offensives under Operation Hadin Kai aimed at dismantling terrorist logistics networks and cutting off supply chains fueling insurgency in the North-East.
