Traditional Medicine Practitioners To Collaborate With Bauchi Rehabilitation Centre

The National Association of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners has assured the involvement of Malam Kawu Youths Rehabilitation and Orphanage Centre in Bauchi into all it’s projects.

The National President of the association, Dr. (Alh.) Shaba Maikudi who gave the assurance in Bauchi in the course of his visit to the centre, noted that the orphans are very sound and we’ll package.

Alhaji Shaba Maikudi who was conducted round the various units of the rehabilitation centre said that according to the World Health Organization (WHO), 85 to 95 percent of the world population defends natural medicine.

Maikudi observed that the centre is more of correctional than rehabilitation, and further assured that the association will partner with all relevant agencies both within and outside the country in ensuring that the aims and objectives of the centre are achieved

“I’m really impressed with what I have seen in this centre, and I want assure you that we would articulate into most of our projects”, Maikudi said

He also directed all the workable plans of the orphanage and rehabilitation centre be forwarded to the national secretariat of the association in order to convince the government and foreign missions on how to assist the centre.

Welcoming the association president, the proprietor of the Malam Kawu Youths Rehabilitation and Orphanage Centre, Mallam Abdullah Tahir expressed delight with the visit of the association’s president which he described as a mark of honour to the centre.

Mallam Abdullah Tahir expressed gratitude to the Bauchi state government, especially it’s media organizations, as well as other national and private media outfits for their continued free services, assistance, support and cooperation in carrying out activities of the centre.

Tahir unfolded expansion plan of the centre to the association president following the purchased of a nearby widow’s house which building materials are being sought to erect accommodation structures.

He called for more assistance, support and cooperation from government and non-governmental organizations, philanthropists, national and international donor agencies to make the centre more reputable globally
