Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Monday embark on an official visit to Adamawa State, marking another high-profile engagement less than 48 hours after a similar trip to Kebbi State.
The one-day working visit will see the President inaugurate a string of completed projects in the state capital, Yola, and neighbouring Jimeta, as well as hold strategic meetings with top government officials and traditional rulers.
Top on the list of projects slated for commissioning is the expansive eight-lane Galadima Aminu Road, a major artery linking Gimba to the capital. The road project is expected to ease traffic congestion, enhance connectivity, and stimulate economic activities within the metropolis.
Education infrastructure will also take centre stage, as the President is billed to inaugurate a newly constructed model school comprising pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary sections — a facility designed to strengthen foundational learning in the state.
Other projects lined up for commissioning include a new multipurpose hall, the remodelled High Court complex, a newly built officers’ complex, and the renovated Government House — all part of efforts to modernise public infrastructure and improve service delivery.
The visit underscores the Federal Government’s engagement with sub-national administrations and its commitment to monitoring development milestones across the country.
Sources say the President will also interact with community leaders and indigenes during the visit, reinforcing federal-state collaboration and strengthening grassroots ties.
After the inauguration ceremonies and stakeholder engagements, President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja the same day.
Monday’s visit is anticipated to draw significant public attention in Adamawa, as residents prepare to witness the unveiling of projects positioned to reshape the state’s administrative, judicial, and educational landscape.
