In a decisive move, President Bola Tinubu has appointed DIG Hashimu Argungu (Rtd) as the new Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), pending Senate confirmation.
Joining him are Chief Onyemuche Nnamani as Secretary and DIG Taiwo Lakanu (Rtd) as a Member.Additionally, Mr. Mohammed Sheidu has been named the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF), effective immediately.
President Tinubu expects these leaders to exhibit unwavering integrity and dedication, ensuring the progress and effectiveness of the Nigeria Police.
