Tinubu at Saudi Summit: End Gaza Aggression Now

At the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, President Bola Tinubu made a passionate call for an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza, stressing that the prolonged conflict has inflicted “immeasurable suffering.”

Addressing leaders from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States, Tinubu urged an immediate ceasefire and advocated for the two-state solution as a path to lasting peace.

“The conflict in Palestine has persisted far too long,” Tinubu declared, emphasizing that global justice demands urgent action.

He called on all parties to respect civilian lives and proportionality in conflict, noting that Nigeria’s own history of conflict resolution supports his appeal for genuine dialogue and mutual recognition.

Commending Saudi Arabia for hosting the summit, Tinubu urged world leaders to foster new pathways to peace in the Middle East and affirmed Nigeria’s commitment to advancing regional stability.
