Tinubu Appoints Eight New Permanent Secretaries, Urges Dedication

In a bid to bolster the federal civil service, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries. This marks the second batch of appointments, following the selection of eight others last June.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries represent diverse states and geopolitical zones, addressing existing and impending vacancies. Their appointments were made upon the recommendation of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation after a rigorous selection process.

The appointees are:

1. Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia)

2. Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa)

President Tinubu charged the new permanent secretaries to uphold excellence, innovation, and dedication in their service to the nation, emphasizing the importance of their roles in driving governance and public service reforms.
