In a chilling early morning attack, armed bandits stormed Tungar Dada Village in the Moriki District of Zurmi LGA, Sokoto State, on April 13, 2025, killing one resident and abducting 50 others.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the raid occurred around 4:00 a.m., as the gunmen opened fire on unsuspecting villagers before herding dozens away to an unknown location.
Security forces have confirmed the fatality and launched a manhunt to rescue the abductees and bring the perpetrators to justice.
