GUSAU – Panic gripped residents of Marere Hausawa, a community on the fringes of Damba in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State, as suspected armed bandits struck in the dead of night, abducting three individuals.
The attackers, heavily armed and ruthless, stormed the area around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, forcing their way into homes and whisking away the victims to an unknown location.
Residents described the raid as sudden and terrifying, leaving the community in shock and fear.
Troops under Operation FANSAN YANMA have since launched search operations in a bid to track down the criminals and rescue the abducted residents.
