Former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal has urged President Bola Tinubu to restrain his ministers and aides from criticizing former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Speaking at a PDP stakeholders meeting in Sokoto State, Tambuwal emphasized that Tinubu must acknowledge his predecessor’s tenure and stop disassociating from Buhari’s governance.
Tambuwal accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of focusing more on power than securing the country.
He stated, “The same Tinubu government that has failed to secure Nigerians is now lamenting and disassociating from Buhari’s administrative failure.
”He called on Tinubu to govern with serious attention and avoid allowing divisive tendencies within his government.
Tambuwal also encouraged PDP supporters to stay united and committed to political unity and progress.
He added, “Our party supporters should be united in bringing change and political unity, guided by principles of peace and respect for everyone in the party.”
