SULTAN DIRECTS MUSLIMS TO START LOOKING FOR MONTH OF RAMADAN

His eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Muha’d Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims ummah in the country to start looking for the crescent of Ramadan tomorrow Friday the first of April 2022, equivalent to twenty ninth of Sha aban 1443 after Hijira.
In a statement signed by the chairman Advisory Committee on religious affairs Sultanate council Sokoto professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan.
