Sultan directs Muslims to look out for new Moon!

His eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa ad Abubakar has directed the Muslims in the country to start looking for the cresent of Sha aban tommorow the third of March 2022, equivalent to Islamic calendar 29th of Rajab 1443 after Hijira.
In a statement signed by the chairman Advisory Committee Sultanate council Sokoto state, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan.
