Senator Yar’adua Free Medical Outreach Programme Continues

In continuation of the Free Medical Outreach Programme sponsored by Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central, the Team visited Rimi Centre on Saturday 10/5/2025.

120 patients suffering from Hynia, Eye problem and other medical problems drawn from Charanchi, Rimi and Batagarawa local government areas were successfully treated, where 200 patients from Katsina, Batsari, Jibia and Kaita were treated.

The Programme which was in collaboration with Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria ( IMAN) has since .
been launched on the 22nd March, 2025 at Katsina General Hospital.

In an interview with the Managing Director of Katsina State Roads Maintenance Agency who is also the Chief Coordinator to Senator Yar’adua Engineer Sirajo Yazid Abukur expressed gratitude and commended the Senator for initiating the Programme.

Engineer Sirajo Abukur said the benefits drawn from the Programme can not be over emphasised as many have no means to treat themselves.

He described the Senator as one of the outstanding Senators not only in Katsina State but the nation at large, and sequel to his outstanding representation accorded him an award of excellence as ‘Best Senator of the Year’.

While praying for the Senator to continue be guided by Allah, Engineer Abukur advised people of Katsina Central Senatorial District to continue intensify their support and prayers to Senator Yar’adua.

A former Supervisory Councillor in Batagarawa local Government Council Hon. Ibrahim Abdulrahman Morawa thanked the Senator for showing much concern to his constituents.

Others who spoke include Hajara Mu’azu and some beneficiaries from the affected local government areas including those from neighbouring Daura Senatorial District

The Team of Medical Doctors and other Health Personnel managing the Programme will finally conduct the exercise on Saturday 17/5/2025 at Dutsinma General Hospital for patients from D/ma, Danmusa and Kurfi LGAs.
