Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has donated Sewing machines and N100,000 to Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Foundation to strengthen its scope of Skills Acquisition training program.
The donation was presented at a ceremony to honour 200 females that acquired skills after training organized by the Foundation.
The Senator represented at the ceremony by Alhaji Umar Faruk AK explained that Senator Abdul’aziz Yar’adua was ever ready to listen and honour tangible advice as his door is always open, adding that the era of political column has gone hence the need for politicians to imbibe the spirit of togetherness by extending hands to all and sundry.
Senator Yar’adua however commended the efforts of the Councillor representing Wakilin Kudu 3 Ward for initiating a Foundation aimed at moving the Ward forward.
He pointed out that the graduation of 200 females on Skills Acquisition by the Foundation indicated the reality of the Councilor’s move towards making youths self-reliant, and charged other Councilors of the Senatorial District to copy.
This according to him would enhance more opportunities to fight restiveness and a reciprocation to government efforts towards that direction.
While pledging his commitment towards supporting and assisting such Foundations across the District, he also charged the graduates to use the skills they acquired maximally and ensure the spirit of training others.
Chairman of the Foundation who is also the Councillor representing Wakilin Kudu 3 Ward Alhaji Yusuf Abdullahi expressed appreciation to the Senator for honouring the invitation and the assistance rendered to the Foundation. Adding that the successful activities of the Foundation would strengthen his capability to come out with another initiative.
Those who witnessed the ceremony include S S A Enlightenment to the State Governor Alhaji Sabo Musa, APC Chairman Katsina LGA Alhaji Mustapha Musa, Alhaji Aminu Wali, Alhaji Babangida Wayya Sauki Fish, representatives of Member Representing Katsina Federal Constituency Alhaji Sani Danlami and Member Representing Katsina LGA in the State House of Assembly Alhaji Aliyu Albaba.
