In a powerful statement on his X account, Senator Shehu Sani called out those glorifying the terrorist Bello Turji, stating that posting videos of captured armored vehicles doesn’t make Turji a hero or diminish his criminality.
Sani emphasized that using such propaganda to undermine the armed forces and police is a disservice to their immense sacrifices.
“The reason you can sleep peacefully with your family and live your life is because of the thousands of personnel out there, sacrificing their lives for yours,” Sani reminded the public.
He labeled Turji and his gang as mass murderers, kidnappers, and rapists, firmly asserting that they will never triumph over Nigeria. “It’s only a matter of time,” he concluded.
