Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central Senatorial District has supported Twelve victims of thunderstorm in Rimi local government area of Katsina State.
A delegation of the Senator led by Alhaji Abubakar Bala Saulawa on Saturday visited Kanyar Uban Daba in Tsagero District of Rimi local government area to commiserate and condole with the families of the victims.
Out of the twelve victims, three died, while nine severely injured following thunderstorm on Wednesday 13/8/25.
Each family of the three deceased were supported with one bag each of Millet and Maize including N50,000 cash, while each of the nine victims severely injured got N50,000 cash.
Presenting the support to the victims, Leader of the delegation Alhaji Abubakar Bala Saulawa extended the Senator’s heartfelt condolence to the families of the deceased and prayed for quick recovery of the injured.
The APC Chairman of the local government area Hon. Nafi’u Makurda on behalf of the families of the deceased and other victims thanked the Senator for the gesture and prayed for Allahu SWT to reward him abundantly and guide him in all his endeavours.
The deceased include Abdullahi Isah, Usman Danchambi and Tsalha Isah, while the injured were Aliyu Yahaya, Awwalu Haruna, Sada Halilu and Abdullahi Muhammad.
Others are Isah Abubakar, Umar Haruna, Ashiru Mohammed, Abdullahi Mohammed and
A/Rahaman Isah.
The delegation similarly visited Tsagero Town to condole Hon. Lemamu Tsagero over the death of first daughter of Late Magaji Lemamu who died last Thursday.
