In the wake of last week’s deadly Malumfashi mosque attack that claimed the lives of scores of worshippers and amid a troubling surge of assaults overwhelming local security in Katsina State, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua has announced urgent steps on his official X account.
The Katsina Central lawmaker revealed that he led a delegation of federal lawmakers from the National Assembly to interface with relevant authorities over the deteriorating security situation. He stressed that the recurring incidents not only threaten the lives of innocent citizens but also erode confidence in security measures across the state.
Senator Yar’adua assured residents that lawmakers are pressing for coordinated federal intervention to restore peace, while pledging continued engagement with security agencies to safeguard communities from further tragedies.
