In a rare and deeply touching gesture, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially granted approval for the burial of Nigerian business titan and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, in the sacred city of Madinah, fulfilling his long-held wish to be laid to rest in the land of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Sources close to the family confirmed that arrangements are in top gear for his Janazah (funeral prayer) scheduled to take place tomorrow, In Sha Allah, at the revered Prophet’s Mosque — Masjid An-Nabawi, a site reserved for the most spiritually significant and blessed burials in the Islamic world.

Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who passed away earlier this week, was not only a symbol of wealth and influence but also a beacon of humility, faith, and service to humanity. His wish to be buried in Madinah — a privilege granted to very few — speaks volumes of the spiritual legacy he leaves behind.

As the nation and the world mourn his loss, prayers continue to pour in from across Nigeria and beyond. May Allah (SWT) accept the heartfelt duas of millions, forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and admit him into Al-Jannatul Firdaws. Ameen.

Truly, a legend now rests where saints and scholars lie.
