Riyadh, June 13, 2025 — In a strongly worded statement, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially condemned the recent Israeli military attacks on Iranian territory, warning that the escalating confrontation could plunge the Middle East into unprecedented chaos.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the strikes as “a dangerous escalation” and urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint. “The Kingdom categorically rejects any aggression that threatens the sovereignty of a nation and endangers regional and global peace,” the statement read.
Saudi officials reiterated their longstanding call for diplomacy over conflict, emphasizing the need for de-escalation and adherence to international law. “Violence breeds only more violence. What this region needs is dialogue, not drones,” a senior Saudi diplomat said during a press briefing.
The condemnation comes amid rising tensions following weeks of tit-for-tat exchanges between Israel and Iran, which have raised alarm bells in Gulf capitals and across the world. Observers note that Saudi Arabia’s firm stance signals its deepening commitment to regional stability and a balanced foreign policy.
As global powers weigh in, Riyadh has called for an emergency meeting of the Arab League to chart a collective response, warning that continued aggression could unravel years of diplomatic progress in the region.
