The Sarkin Maskan Katsina and District Head of Funtua, Sambo Idris Sambo, has commended Alhaji Munkaila Ashafa, Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) to the Federal Ministry of Works, for what he described as impactful and people-centred development in Funtua and its environs.
The royal commendation came when Ashafa paid a courtesy visit to the Sarkin Maska’s palace in Funtua, drawing praise for projects that have touched lives across the district.
Sambo Idris Sambo highlighted Ashafa’s interventions, including the construction of solar-powered boreholes, building of mosques, sponsorship of orphans, and the award of scholarships to deserving students.
“The people of Funtua truly appreciate your efforts, and we pray Allah rewards you abundantly,” the monarch said.
He further applauded Ashafa’s commitment to equitable development, noting that despite serving in government, he has remained focused on uplifting his hometown and ensuring tangible benefits reach ordinary citizens.
The Sarkin Maska also called on residents of Funtua to emulate Ashafa’s example, urging community members to contribute in their own ways to the growth and progress of the area.
