Fifteen years after the passing of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, former Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has taken to his X account to honor the late leader, describing him as “one of Nigeria’s finest.”

Reflecting on their personal and political bond, Saraki wrote: “I still remember a friend whose quiet wisdom helped shape my understanding of service.”

He praised Yar’Adua’s leadership style, stating, “He led with conviction, not commotion. He listened more than he spoke — and when he did speak, it was with purpose, not politics.”
