Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, extends warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah in Katsina State on the commencement of the blessed month of Ramadan 1446AH.
In his Ramadan greetings, Governor Radda encouraged Muslims to use this sacred period for spiritual reflection, increased devotion, and acts of charity that align with the teachings of Islam.
“As we welcome this blessed month of mercy and forgiveness, I urge all Muslims to renew their commitment to Allah and embrace the spiritual opportunities that Ramadan presents,” Governor Radda stated.
The Governor declared that his administration has made arrangements to launch the Food Support Program 2.0 that was successfully implemented during last year’s Ramadan.
“We have put measures in place to sustain our Food Support Program, ensuring that vulnerable citizens across the state receive assistance that enables them to observe their fasting with dignity,” he affirmed.
Governor Radda also emphasized that supporting the less privileged during Ramadan fulfills an important Islamic obligation and reflects the spirit of brotherhood that the holy month promotes.
The Governor charged citizens to use this period to pray for peace, unity, prosperity, and divine guidance for Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
“May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during this blessed month, and may He grant us the strength to fulfill our obligations in ways that please Him,” Governor Radda concluded.
