Radda Urges North West Governors: Unite for Economic Progress

Governor  Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina state ,has advised the Governor’s of the seven North western States to unite to boost Economic and investment Development of the sub_region.
The Governor stated this during the opening ceremony of a three day tour of Presidential committee of enabling Business council on Tuesday in katsina.
He maintained that the Sub_region,have several abundant mineral  and natural deposits.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy,Mallam Farouk Lawal Jobe said that the Governor should put more grease to their elbow to develope their area’s.
“If we come together who have the capacity full together the several mineral resources in our areas,for the overall development of the nation.” He said.
The Governor revealed that katsina state had already entered in to an agreement with a German company to boost economic and investment opportunities in the state.
Radda said that the meeting  of the seven state  Government’s is an indication of their readiness to come out of economic depression.
Earlier,the Kano state Governor ,Abba Yusuf ,said that their state had established  some policies that would invite  investors to put their resources  in companies in the state.
“We have developed strategies that will ease business and investment in Kano state.
We are ready to provide incentives  to any willing investor in our state with the aim of mobilising revenue in the state” He said.
