Radda Strengthens Team: Appoints Special Advisers on Education, Community Development

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expanded his cabinet with the appointment of two seasoned administrators to drive key areas of his administration’s “Building Your Future” agenda.

In a move aimed at tackling education challenges and strengthening grassroots engagement, the Governor named Dr. Tasiu Dahiru as Special Adviser on Quranic Education and Out-of-School Children and Aminu Lawal Jibia as Special Adviser on Community Development.

Dr. Tasiu, a scholar with a PhD in English Language, has served on several state committees, including the Local Contents Committee and the Ease of Doing Business Committee. He was also a member of the organising team for the Katsina State Talent Hunt.

On his part, Jibia brings a wealth of leadership experience, having served as Chairman of Jibia Local Government (2013–2015) and held advisory roles in Labour, Productivity, Skills Acquisition, and Vocational Training between 2016 and 2022.

Governor Radda charged the new appointees to hit the ground running, stressing that their roles are central to delivering his government’s development objectives.

The appointments, announced on Wednesday, take immediate effect.
