Radda Strengthens Educational Ties with Visit to Katsina Students in China

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has visited Katsina State students studying at Xuzhou University of Technology in Jiangsu, China, assuring them of his administration’s continued support to help them achieve their full potential.

The visit came after Governor Radda attended the 16th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum & Exhibition (IIICF) in Macao, where he held meetings with stakeholders to attract partnerships for developing Katsina State.

During his visit to the students, Governor Radda listened attentively to their needs and challenged them to pursue their education with diligence and discipline.

The students, who spoke through their representative, Musa Abubakar Danmusa, in a warm welcome address, appealed to the Governor for computers, laptops, and other study materials to aid their education.

In his remarks, Governor Radda assured them that the state government would provide all the necessary materials and resources they need for their studies. He pledged to introduce book allowances to ease their financial burdens and announced a special Sallah package for all Katsina students in Xuzhou University of Technology, Jiangsu.

“It’s true education is the key to our future. Your success is our success, and we will do everything we can to empower you to achieve it.” Governor Radda promised the students.

The Governor also urged the students to keep their religion close, read the Qur’an regularly, and remain true ambassadors of their state. He assured them that the state government would look into other things they need and respond promptly to their requests.

The students expressed their deep appreciation for the Governor’s visit and for making education a key priority in developing Katsina’s future. They pledged to make the best use of the opportunities provided and to come back home with knowledge and skills that will help move their state forward.

The Governor was accompanied by his wife, Hajiya Fatima Dikko Umaru Radda; Principal Private Secretary, Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; the Managing Director of Water Board, Dr. Tukur Tinglin; and Katsina Lead Consultant, Haroun Abba Ghana.
