PHOTO NEWS: Radda Touches Down After Global Investment Tour
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Sunday returned to Nigeria after a high-powered international tour that took him to Belarus, France, and South Africa—two weeks of diplomatic stops aimed at unlocking new security alliances, economic partnerships, and clean energy investments for Katsina State.
Governor Radda arrived at the Aminu Kano International Airport to a warm reception from senior government officials, political leaders, party stalwarts, and excited supporters. Flanked by family members and top aides, the Governor proceeded to Kano before heading back to Katsina to resume state duties.
Radda’s first stop was Minsk, Belarus, where he secured cooperation on technology education, agriculture development, defence collaboration, and ICT training programmes tailored for youths.
In Paris, the Governor met with France’s leading energy firms, driving conversations on reviving the Lambar Rimi Wind Farm and expanding hybrid renewable energy projects. He also made a standout appearance at Ambition Africa 2025, boosting investor confidence and marketing Katsina’s growing clean-energy potential.
The diplomatic tour rounded off in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Governor Radda joined Vice President Kashim Shettima at the 2025 G20 Summit. There, he explored new global opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, digital innovation, and energy—positioning Katsina State as an emerging hub for sustainable development.
With his return, Governor Radda is set to hit the ground running, resuming full official duties and pushing forward with ongoing reforms and key development projects across the state.
