Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has funded a comprehensive overhaul of the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service’s vehicle fleet.
The project, driven by Comptroller Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud pcc, cna, fcilrm, saw the complete revitalization of operational vehicles. The extensive upgrades included panel beating, full repainting, and the replacement of key components like tyres, fuel pumps, power steering units, brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension systems, radiators, batteries, and critical electrical wiring.
CIS Mahmoud lauded Governor Radda for his unwavering support, describing the intervention as a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to security infrastructure and operational efficiency.
“This initiative reflects the Governor’s dedication to equipping security agencies with the tools they need to serve and protect effectively,” Mahmoud said.
The revamped fleet is expected to significantly enhance the mobility and responsiveness of immigration officers across the state.
