Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has arrived in Johannesburg as part of the delegation of Vice President Kashim Shettima for the landmark 2025 G20 Summit, holding from November 22 to 23 in South Africa.
The summit, themed “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability,” is historic—marking the first time the G20 meeting of world leaders will be hosted on African soil. With global attention fixed on Johannesburg, the forum is set to shape global economic priorities, climate action, technology shifts, and sustainable development pathways for years to come.
Governor Radda’s presence underscores the Building Your Future administration’s ambition to reposition Katsina State as a rising frontier for international investment, technology transfer, and green growth. His itinerary includes high-level engagements with world leaders, multinational investors, and development partners, as Katsina seeks to deepen collaboration in agriculture, renewable energy, digital innovation, and manufacturing.
With the G20 representing over 85% of global GDP and nearly two-thirds of the world’s population, Radda’s participation places Katsina firmly on the global stage—signaling a proactive push for partnerships that can accelerate job creation, industrialization, and long-term prosperity for the state.
