Radda Honoured as “Omeluoha I” for Outstanding Charity

In a historic event at the ancestral palace of Ndeabor Kingdom, Enugu State, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was conferred with the prestigious Igbo chieftaincy title of “Omeluoha I” (Man of Charity) by His Royal Highness Igwe Ben N. Eze (JP).

The royal accolade celebrated Governor Radda’s inclusive governance and unwavering support for the Igbo community and other non-indigenous residents in Katsina State. Representing the Governor, Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, expressed heartfelt gratitude and reaffirmed the state’s dedication to fostering unity and inclusivity among all Nigerians.

The occasion coincided with a grand triple celebration hosted by Ambassador Bernard Oshi in Ndeabor Town, featuring his marriage, a new country home unveiling, and an annual philanthropic outreach. Ambassador Oshi praised Governor Radda’s presence as a symbol of national unity, thanking him for enriching the event with his representation.

The Katsina delegation included prominent government officials, underscoring the state’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and peaceful coexistence.

This honour highlights Governor Radda’s legacy as a bridge-builder between regions, reflecting a shared vision of harmony and progress for Nigeria.
