Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday met with all 34 Local Government Chairmen of the state in a high-level session at Government House, Katsina.
The Governor later presided over a closed-door meeting with the council bosses, where key issues believed to center on security and grassroots development dominated discussions.
Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruq Lawal Jobe; the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Bishir Gambo; alongside other top government officials.
The strategic engagement, sources said, underscores Governor Radda’s determination to strengthen collaboration with local governments in tackling pressing challenges and driving development across communities in Katsina State.
