Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated former Vice President, Arc. Namadi Sambo, GCON, on his turbaning as the Sardauna of Zazzau by the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.
Governor Radda described the honour as a fitting recognition of the former Vice President’s sterling leadership, statesmanship, and enduring contributions to Nigeria’s growth and unity.
He lauded Sambo’s legacy of public service — from his impactful tenure as Governor of Kaduna State to his time as Vice President — noting his dedication to infrastructure, education, and economic transformation.
The Governor equally commended the Emir of Zazzau for his wise selection, stressing that Sambo’s humility, integrity, and vision make him truly deserving of the revered title.
Radda prayed for continued wisdom, health, and divine guidance for the new Sardauna, while wishing the Emir and people of Zazzau Emirate lasting peace and prosperity.
