Borno State Government

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday joined Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, to commission the newly constructed Maz’atuss Sahaba Jumu’at Mosque at Low Cost Quarters, Water Board, Malumfashi — moments after the Jumu’at prayer.

The grand mosque—built through the benevolence of Hon. Kabir Ibrahim Masari, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters—was hailed as a monumental step toward strengthening communal worship and promoting Islamic growth in the community.

Governor Buni, while officially declaring the mosque open, offered heartfelt prayers for Allah’s blessings, peace, unity, and continued stability for Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole. He prayed that the mosque becomes a fountain of guidance, piety, and spiritual renewal for generations.

He also offered special prayers for Hon. Masari, praising his selfless contribution and praying that Allah rewards him abundantly, raises his rank, and makes the project a lasting sadaqah jariyah.
