Borno State Government

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep gratitude to the people of Katsina State for their historic and overwhelming turnout to welcome Vice President Kashim Shettima during his two-day working visit to the state.

Speaking after the Vice President’s engagements in Katsina, Governor Radda described the solidarity shown by residents as truly historic and deeply touching.

“I don’t have enough words to thank the people of Katsina. This is truly historic. Since the beginning of my political journey, the people have always stood by me. During the election, their support made the difference. Now, more than two years into my administration, that support continues to grow stronger,” the governor said.

He attributed every achievement recorded by his administration to divine providence, the dedication of his team, and most importantly, the unwavering confidence of Katsina residents in his vision for inclusive development.

“First, we must thank Almighty Allah for making this possible. It’s not by my power. I sincerely thank the people of Katsina State for all the support they have continued to give us. I also appreciate my team because I couldn’t achieve these things alone—they have given their very best,” Governor Radda stated.

The governor described the people’s belief in his administration as the driving force behind the steady progress and transformational reforms being witnessed across the state.

“The people’s support is not just about numbers or crowds—it is about trust, shared vision, and collective hope for a greater Katsina. That solidarity gives us strength, inspires our decisions, and motivates us to work even harder,” he added.

Governor Radda also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for their continued partnership with Katsina State, noting that the Vice President’s visit exceeded expectations as he commissioned key projects including a dual carriageway with solar-powered streetlights and inaugurated the Katsina Sustainable Platform for Agriculture, a pioneering digital hub for farmers.

As 2025 draws to a close, the governor assured residents that efforts are being intensified to deliver more results and complete ongoing projects across the state.

“Your solidarity is a powerful demonstration of unity and shared hope. We will not take your trust for granted. We will continue to work tirelessly to justify the confidence you have placed in us,” Governor Radda pledged.
