Professor Pantami Mourns 17 Almajiri Students Lost in Zamfara Fire Traged

Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isah Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of 17 students in a fire outbreak at an Almajiri Qur’an school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State.

In a heartfelt message on X, Pantami wrote: “Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Raaji’un! We extend our heartfelt condolences to the teachers, parents, and the Zamfara State Government over this devastating loss.”

The fire, which raged for nearly three hours, also left several students injured, with many currently receiving medical treatment.

Pantami prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed souls, healing for the injured, and protection against such tragedies in the future.
