President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has welcomed the safe release of the 24 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State, last Monday.
The President expressed relief and commended the efforts of security agencies, local authorities, and all those who contributed to ensuring the girls’ safe return.
This development has brought immense joy to families and communities, marking a significant victory in the fight against terrorism and kidnappings in the region. Videos confirming the girls’ safety have been shared publicly, giving further assurance to the nation.
President Tinubu also called for continued vigilance and prayers for lasting peace and security across Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of protecting schoolchildren and communities from such threats.
