President Tinubu Signs New Minimum Wage Bill into Law: N70,000 Monthly

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today signed the National Minimum Wage Amendment Bill 2024 into law, setting a new minimum monthly salary of N70,000, reviewable every three years.

The signing took place during the Federal Executive Council meeting, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other National Assembly leaders in attendance. Head of Service praised the law, saying it reassures workers of the President’s commitment to their welfare.
