President Bola Tinubu has applauded the Nigerian military for its recent successes in combating security threats in the North-West, signaling renewed confidence in the nation’s defense forces.
In a statement, the President praised troops for neutralizing notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu, who had terrorized Zamfara, Sokoto, and surrounding areas.
Another terrorist, Sani Wala Burki, was eliminated in Katsina, while a Kaduna operation freed 13 kidnapped students.
These triumphs follow the President’s directive for service chiefs to relocate to the region, ensuring peace is restored.
President Tinubu reaffirmed his unwavering support for the military and security agencies, urging them to sustain their momentum until all threats are eliminated.
