President Bola Tinubu has officially appointed Dr. Badamasi Lawal Charanchi as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).
Dr. Charanchi, who currently serves as the Commissioner of Local Government in Katsina State, holds a doctorate degree in education.
His extensive background in education and local governance is expected to bring a wealth of experience to his new role at NSIPA.
The appointment is seen as a strategic move to bolster the agency’s efforts in addressing social challenges and enhancing welfare programs across the country.
Dr. Charanchi’s leadership is anticipated to drive significant progress in the National Social Investment Programme, aimed at uplifting the socio-economic status of millions of Nigerians.
