
President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated three hundred and thirty KVA power sub-station at Akurba, in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital.
The power sub-station was part of the projects marked out for inauguration by the President during his two-day official visit to Nasarawa State.
Speaking to newsmen after the inauguration, the Minister of power Abubakar Aliyu, said the project which was started in 2017, had been completed and is one of the legacy projects of the President Buhari in Nasarawa State.
The Minister has therefore assured the public that the Akurba power sub-station and other projects by the FG would be fully utilised given the government’s huge investment in infrastructural development.
Our Correspondent reports that the President who did not make speech, was accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Simon Lanong of Plateau, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi.
Others with him are; Minister of Power Abubakar Aliyu, Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami, Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaye Onu and Mohammed Abdullahi Minister of State Science and Technology.
The members of National and State House of Assembly from Nasarawa State also accompanied the President to the occasion.
