
President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA to work with the World Medical Association, WMA to restrategies ways to tackle diseases threatening mankind in the world.
He made the call while congratulating the first West African Physician to be the president of the World Medical Association, WMA at a reception dinner in Abuja.
Dr Osahon Enabulele , is a Nigerian and the first African to be the president of WMA since the inception in 1947
Represented by the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, president Muhammadu Buhari was optimistic that the feat will bring human capital development and quality healthcare to the country.
He urged Medical practitioners to strive for self development to become assets to the country and the world at large.
The president of the Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, Professor Innocent Ujah called on the world medical leader to use his office to Forster National and international partnership for the benefit of physicians and patients globally.
Appreciating the gesture and confidence reposed on him, the celebrant Dr Osahon Enebulele promised to use his office for the good of humanity and the Nation.
