Police Thwart Kidnap Attempt in Bwari, Rescue 3 Victims Unhurt

Katsina state government

In a swift and courageous operation, the FCT Police Command foiled a kidnapping attempt on Tuesday night in Paya Village, Bwari Area Council of Abuja, rescuing three abducted residents unhurt.

According to police sources who spoke with Zagazola Makama, the armed kidnappers struck around 8:30 p.m., seizing residents and attempting to escape into the bush. However, a rapid response team deployed to the scene cordoned off the area and confronted the criminals.

The intense pressure forced the kidnappers to abandon their victims in the nearby Tokolo Village bush and flee into the Gidan Dogo Forest.
