The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of a 10-year-old Almajiri, Abdalla Lawali, in Jada Local Government Area.
According to intelligence sources, the suspects, Ibrahim Abdulmalik (27) and Aliyu Abdulmalik (18), were apprehended following credible leads linking them to the horrific crime.
Lawali, a resident of Agwan Dubai, was reported missing on March 7, 2025. After thorough investigations, police arrested the duo from Agwan Sarkin Yamma, who later confessed to beheading the child.
A police team visited the crime scene, where they recovered the victim’s body and severed head.
The Adamawa State Police Command has assured the public that investigations are ongoing to uncover the motive behind the killing. The suspects will be charged to court to face justice.
