Feeder Transformer Thief Busted in Abak LGA — Confesses to Iceland Cult Membership

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a suspected cultist and notorious vandal allegedly behind a string of attacks on public power installations in Abak Local Government Area.

The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Pius Pius, was apprehended on July 20, 2025, at about 6:55 PM at No. 80 School Road by Oku Abak, following a sting operation based on credible intelligence.

Shockingly, a search of his residence revealed chilling evidence — a human skull — alongside stolen electrical components including a transformer step-down insulator, a circuit breaker, an electric meter, and several fuses.

During interrogation, Pius confessed to being a member of the Iceland Confraternity, a cult group known for its violent activities and sabotage of public infrastructure.
