Kano State Police arrested 35-year-old Hassan Ilyasu of Alhazawa Village, Musawa LGA, Katsina State.

The arrest, made during a routine stop-and-search by Tsanyawa Division officers, uncovered two AK-47 rifles with loaded magazines and a staggering 4,986,000 naira hidden in a taped sack.

Ilyasu remains in custody as investigations unfold.
