The group concerned Northern Nigeria Called ”REBUILD AREWA” Initiative for Development has on Saturday Inaugurated Kano State chapter as Gwani Auwal Muhammad Muktar take the charge of the Group as state Coodinator.
In his remarks the national president of the group, Honorable Balarabe Rufa’i, Rebuild Arewa Initiative is aimed at addressing challenges facing the Northern region especially security, Economy and Unity for meaningful progress.
Hon Balarabe Explained that during the inauguration of the members of the group are like minded people who resolve to form an alliance that will confront the challenges with a view to finding lasting solutions for the region to progress.
”When We take the current insecurity bedeviling the North couple with economic challenges and unemployment.”
The former Senatorial Candidate under the Umbrella of ADC Kano Central Added tha the other social vices are taking the region backwards which must be confronted.
”This leadership of the movement is a reflection of 19 Northern states in respective of religion, tribe and ethnicity with common interest of salvaging the North.
On his part the new state Coordinator Gwani Auwal Muhammad Muktar expressed readiness to discharge his duties with diligence and fair for God in order to rebuild the region.
”This movement is voluntary as there is no anybody behind the scene sponsoring their activities for personal gains.”
Gwani also urged youth across the region to support the movement in order to achieve their objectives.
Other executives of the Group includes Hamza Nasiru Mukhtar as Secretary. Garzali Ibrahim Ungoggo Deputy Coodinator, Mu’awiyya Iliyasu Coodinator Kano North, Yahaya Haruna Kadana Assitant Financial Secretary and Yahaya El-Yakub coordinator Kano Central among others.
The inauguration was attended by civil society organizations, community based groups, media professionals as well as other stakeholders.
