The Minister for Defense Alh. Badaru Abubakar fits this adage.
During his tenure as the Executive Governor of Jigawa State and the Chief Security Officer, his domain witnessed and enjoyed maximum peace, security and adjoining growth.
This experience he brought to bear as the Minister for Defense.
At the State level he coordinated all security organs, harmonized them, gave each organ the terms of reference of Operations while webbing them all together as a unit for the desired results. There were no overlapping references but overlapping corporation and coordination.

“You can only give what you have” is what Alh Badaru Abubakar is exuding within the Ministry of Defense.
Presentation Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the right choice of “the right peg in the right hole”. The Minister Mr. Badaru Abubakar in return reciprocated by coordinating the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs (Land, Air and Sea) and not leaving behind the Minister of State Defence Alh Bello Matawalle with the respective roles to play so as to achieve the results that our sovereign nation is witnessing today.

This is not a medium to list all, it would be counter productive to do so. However, we are witnessing the achievements so far.
To mention just a few.

The ” Defense” business can and should not be seen as an ‘ instant coffee” affair. Good healthy coffee comes from carefully selected coffee beans from an optimum climatic producing zone, roasted, ground and percolated….it’s a long process, but the best is got. Alh Badaru Abubakar personifies just that and with a support of a “Formidable” team.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not make a mistake to make him Team Leader.
This is “Renewed Hope” in it’s purest form, achievement and Glory.
