In a flurry of high-level engagements underscoring leadership, discipline, and community collaboration, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad, convened a strategic management session with top officers and hosted two key advocacy visits at the Corps headquarters.

During the strategic meeting, which brought together Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, and Outpost heads, Commandant Ahmad laid out renewed directives aimed at reinforcing security around Critical National Assets and Infrastructure across Katsina State. He urged the officers to remain steadfast in discipline, hard work, and dedication to duty.

Commandant Ahmad did not mince words in warning against job racketeering, calling on officers to uphold transparency and integrity during public interactions—especially in job application processes. “We are protectors of the people, and the public must trust us. Any form of misconduct, particularly in recruitment processes, will not be tolerated,” he stated firmly.

In a separate engagement, the Commandant warmly received Hajiya Rabi Mohammed, Coordinator of the Women for Nigeria Project Scale Up, who led her team on an advocacy visit to seek the NSCDC’s partnership in delivering gender-inclusive development objectives.

Hajiya Rabi briefed the Commandant on the project’s goals and ongoing efforts to empower women across sectors. Commandant Ahmad commended the initiative and pledged the command’s full cooperation to support and safeguard the project’s activities across Katsina State.

The day also featured a courtesy visit by the Screening Team for the upcoming Musabaka (Qur’anic Recitation Competition) organized by the Imams of security agencies in Katsina. Commandant Ahmad expressed his support and praised the inter-agency collaboration promoting religious knowledge, values, and unity among officers.

All engagements reflect a leadership style marked by proactivity, inclusivity, and strict professional standards under Commandant Ahmad’s watch.
